On Wednesday evening, the Golden State Warriors are hosting the Sacramento Kings at the Chase Center in San Francisco.

The Warriors are 3-1 in their first four games and coming off a fantastic performance against the New Orleans Pelicans on Monday (they won 130-102).

Steph Curry, who has been off to a remarkable start to the new season, had 42 points, five rebounds, five assists and two steals in 30 minutes of playing time.

During Wednesday's game, the two-time MVP made NBA history.

Curry is widely seen as the greatest shooter in the history of the NBA, and he has made more three-pointers than anyone (3,417). 

The four-time NBA Champion came into the night with fantastic averages of 33.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.2 steals per contest while shooting 55.8% from the field and 47.1% from the three-point range. 

At 35, Curry has shown no signs of slowing down, and last year, he averaged 29.4 points, 6.1 rebounds and 6.3 assists per contest while shooting 49.3% from the field and 42.7% from the three-point range.

After beating the Kings in the first round of the NBA playoffs, the Warriors lost to the Los Angeles Lakers (in six games).
